8 Week Spring Tax & Audit Internship

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION AND GOALS

The Spring Tax & Audit Internship Program is designed to guide Accounting Interns in accomplishing three (3) major goals:
1) Gain an in-depth, realistic understanding of an accounting firm in general, but more specifically, TMH
2) Define and develop character traits to facilitate success in a professional work environment
3) Focus on building a toolbox of technical skills specific to the accounting industry

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be an active Accounting major at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level with a current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong organizational skills, in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)

TIME COMMITMENT

• Normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week (Full-time)
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Part-time)
• Must be available to work Saturdays during tax season (February – April)
